Founded in 2021 by Christian Martin, cuirsaumon.ca is an eco-responsible Quebec company that aims to reduce its ecological footprint.

It specializes in the manufacture and manufacture of fashionable products made of salmon leather. According to a process recognized in Europe, the skin of the first smoked salmon is recycled and transformed by the Maison Casteigt, in Italy. The tanning of the salmon skin is carried out without chemicals and is recognized as "Free metal", that is to say without chromium.
